On Wednesday, February 18th, the AFSCME Council 5 Minnesota State Policy Committee will host its first-ever, sector-specific Day on the Hill. This is a unique opportunity to meet with legislative leaders and staff to advocate for the vital work we do every day.

Agenda:

• 9:00 AM: Gather at the AFSCME Council 5 office for a light breakfast.
• Receive a legislative update, refine our messaging, and prepare for meetings.
• 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM: Meet with legislators at the Minnesota State Capitol.
• 3:30 PM: Join the coalition rally in the Capitol Rotunda to FUND OUR FUTURES!

This is your chance to make your voice heard and fight for the resources and recognition our work deserves. Your participation will help strengthen our message and show our collective power.

Minnesota State workers should register by Wednesday, 2/12, to ensure we have an accurate count for breakfast and planning purposes.
