Our unionizing efforts began just before Labor day of 2021 when we went public with our intent to unionize. A vote was held in November in which 144 TO 63 voted to unionize. Up to 43 additional employees were designated by MNHS as temporary and did not get their ballots counted, meaning those ballots were not opened. Within the first few meetings with management at the end of May 2022 our Table Team delivered all of our negotiating proposals. The last proposal was accepted in early March of 2023 and our first contract was ratified with a member vote of 171 TO 3, with 87% of members voting.
