Take Action for Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery Workers & Clients
AFSCME members at the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery (Local 3481) need your support!
The employer is offering only 2.5% total in wage increases over a potential three year contract to workers - most who are making under $15 an hour. The employer is also proposing to cut PTO accrual rates by 10 days per year.
These workers help to prevent child abuse and neglect and build critical relationships in our community. They're asking all allies, including other locals, members and community members, to send this email to the Executive Director of the facility and to members of their Board of Directors.
Your show of support will help ensure these workers get a fair contract and livable wages, and the kids they serve will get the best possible care.
Here's how you can help:Sister AFSCME locals and community allies: Please endorse and send the email as a collective, and encourage individual members to send their own letters as well. Emails should be sent to the staff and board members listed below.
