Our 13th annual convention takes place October 5-7 at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.  On Thursday, AFSCME International President Lee Saunders will be in the house and delegates will build their power with workshops.  On Friday, we will host a gubernatorial candidates’ forum.  On Saturday, Gov. Mark Dayton and Lt. Gov. Tina Smith will join us and we will deliver donations to Safe Haven Shelter.  Here’s a link to the full convention schedule.

  • New Delegate Workshop: Wednesday, 6:30 p.m.
  • Delegate Registration: Thursday, 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.; Friday, 7 – 9 a.m.
  • Workshops: Thursday, 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
  • Convention Assembly: Thursday, 1:45 – 3:45 p.m.; Friday, 9 – 11:30 a.m. and 12:45 – 5 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. – noon
  • Gubernatorial Candidates Forum: Friday, 1 – 3 p.m.
  • Dance: Friday, 8 p.m.

Delegate credentials must be postmarked by Sept. 25.
