Council 5 provides a variety of Training Programs throughout the year. Scheduled programs are listed below.

Time: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, unless otherwise noted.

Cost: Basic Steward Training is $50 per person.  This includes $20 for the manual and $15 per day for lunch.  All other prescheduled training is $15 for lunch and $5 per participant for materials.

Workplace Bullying - Train the Trainers

The Education Department is committed to programs that strengthen local union development. This includes leadership development, increasing activism among members and building power through union building. Cancellations: To cancel, contact Jackie O'Shea.  Locals will be billed $15 per person for late cancellations.  A cancellation will be considered late if we are notified after the food has been ordered, usually about a week before the scheduled class.
